Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. When she completed her high school studies and then attending River Oaks High School in the summer before her junior year. In the school, she was a part of the drill and dance team. A short time after her graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, began modeling after she left the school. After graduation, she relocated into New York to pursue this profession. She had the idea to attempt acting after a couple of years. In the 1970s, she was a character who wasn't credited in the show All My Children. A year later she was cast for the NBC primetime teen drama Malibu Shores. In the latter half of 1996Ward landed a role on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, she began an acting career in films in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. The film did not make money in theatres but it made a splash in the world of cable and DVD. Ward then played an important support role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Ward also appeared as a guest in numerous TV shows as well as direct-to-DVD films. The character as Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 in which she played the mom of a young woman on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In her personal life she got married to director David C. Robinson and was blessed with a son named Cameron and David.
